Here are the groups, topics, and order for the Student Discussions. Be sure to have your topic prepared at least a week ahead of schedule, just incase you have to go earlier than "planned." These dates are tentative.
Remember to have prepared for your discussion:
- enough background information about your topic, focusing on your specific aspect of that topic (e.g. information about "legalization of marijuana for medicinal purposes" rather than just "legalizing marijuana," if that is your focus)
- a dozen insightful and substantive questions that will fascilitate an interesting discussion (no "Yes / No" questions)
Here are some of the discussions other classes will be having:
