Data Display
Using the visual design concepts we discussed in class, arrange the following information into an easy to use format. As you work, consider different ways that you might group the information.

  • Spanish 100 MTWR 3:10p.m.-4:00p.m. Pearson 215
  • Comp Sci 104 TR 9:30 a.m.-11:00a.m. Atanasoff 55
  • Comp Sci 104 lab T 6:30p.m.-8:30p.m. Atanasoff 101
  • Physics 101 W 6:00p.m.-9:00p.m. Lagomarcino N167
  • Comp Sci 227 MWF 1:10p.m.-2:00p.m. Atanasoff 55
  • Comp Sci 227 lab R 4:00p.m.-5:00p.m. Atanasoff 105
  • Comp Sci 330 TR 8:00a.m.-9:30a.m. Durham 301
  • Work study MWF 8:00a.m.-12:00p.m.; TR 12:00p.m.-3:00p.m. Computer Science Department office
Write a brief paragraph explaining your arrangement of the information in relation to the intended audience and purpose. What sacrifices had to be made in your design in order to achieve other purposes? How does your arrangement of the information make the document more useful?

Text Arrangement
Again using the visual design concepts, reformat the text below to emphasize important points. As you work, consider who might use the document and the conditions under which the document might be used. You may choose to add headings or re-arrange various portions of the text, but you do not need to write any additional text.

Uninstalling Windows
You can use the uninstall process if you need to remove this version of Windows from your system and revert to the previous version of Windows. Before making a decision to uninstall, there are some important things to consider. Please read the important notes below.
Open Add/Remove Programs properties in Control Panel, and then click Uninstall Windows Millennium in the list.

Important Notes:
Do not uninstall Windows if you compressed your hard disks after setting up this version of Windows, or after you have upgraded your compression.
If you did not choose the option of saving your Windows 95 or Windows 98 system files during the installation of Windows Millennium Edition, you cannot restore your previous operating system after you install this version of Windows.
If you converted your hard drive to the FAT32 file storage system after installing, you cannot uninstall. However, if you had FAT32 before installing, you can uninstall without a problem.
You can uninstall only once for each upgrade.
If you uninstall this version of Windows, any programs you installed while running this version must be reinstalled. You may also have to reconfigure your swap file.

Note: Another way to open Control Panel is to click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel. If you don't see the item you want, click view all Control Panel options.
